Our talented and brave Prep and College learners, as well as our skilled drummers, put on an amazing show for our Night of 1000 Stars. They put themselves in the spotlight, tested their limits and had the opportunity to show off just a little bit.

We had our first ever gumboot dancing performance thanks to Mr K and Mr T – what a treat that was! There were some heartfelt and traditional songs which were beautiful to listen to, as well as swagger-injected rap. The emotion conveyed through each of the performances was breath-taking.

A big round of applause must go to our aspiring actresses, who put their heart and soul into their performances. Hopefully next year we’ll have some aspiring actors up there too!

The dancers were on pointe with every single twist and turn. You made your incredible moves look so effortless.

The puppet show was a quirky highlight of the night and props to Mr Coetzee for singing his heart out. To the rest of the teachers, we’d like to see some of your talents showcased too.

To the drummers, you always make our hearts skip a beat! It was sensational to witness the College drummers show off.

The night ended on a high note with a group performance from the drummers and drama club of ‘From Now On’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’. What a lovely way to end such an action-packed night.

Well done to every single soul who participated. We look forward to seeing even more talent on stage in the future.
